Pancreatitis
Intro
Pancreatitis is inflammation of the pancreas. Pancreatitis is often seen clinically in the acute form.
Risk Factors
It can be caused from toxicity, alcohol use, viral infection, and gallstones.
S&S
Referral Patterns
Can refer pain to right upper quadrant, the epigastric area of the abdomen, distal to xyphoid process, and the thoracic and lumbar spine.

- Pain aggravated by walking and supine lying
- Pain relieved by leaning forward while seated
- GI disturbances
- Jaundice
- Fever
- Malaise
- Weakness
- Weight loss
